Spraying FAQ
Heavy Lift:
How Much Do Your Tanks Hold?
Liquid:
Argas T40's 40-liter (10.5 gallons) liquid capacity.
Dry:
The Agras T40 Spreader can carry 110 lbs (50kg) of dry material and has a 70 Liter (18.5 gallons) dry-tank.
Going the Distance
How Much Can You Spray - per Day or per Acre ?
DJI states that the Argas T40 is capable of 40 acres per hour for a stated total of 400 acres per day.
On the liquid tanks- our industry experts tout 2 gallons per acre (GPA) as the carrier volume for the DJI T40.
The T40 dry tank can spread 1.5 tons of dry material per flight hour at the standard flight height spreading 133 lbs per acre (150 kg per hectare).
Overall and realistically - we feel our flight and ground crew can cover 200 acres flown per day as a reasonable estimate.
Wing-span
How wide is a drone sprayer's swath per pass?
Drones utilize a vortex effect created by the rotor wash to help spread out and distribute the atomized liquid across a swath that is wider than the actual drone. The swath is affected by this vortex effect along with application height, nozzle selection, spray rate and spraying speed.
The DJI Argas T40 can create a max swath width up to 9.75 meters (32 feet)
The spread pattern of the granular spreader varies widely depending on product and drone elevation, typically ranging from 20-35 ft.
Drift Management
What's the difference between a ground rig, a plane, and a drone?
Short answer: the drone is designed to take advantage of its downward air movement to essentially "push" the materials into the target area vs an airplane which can suspend fine particles in the air resulting is higher risk of drift.

Where do you mix batches?
In an attempt to be as environmentally and resource friendly as possible, our ground crew's rig transports water in order for us to use with our on-board mixing system on site. Only the amounts and batches needed are made helping you to conserve resources and reduce waste.
Down Time
What is your flight and turn around time?
Flight Time varies, but typically ranges from 8 to 15 minutes.
Our batteries re-charge in under 10 minutes.
Full scale operations once the craft is on the ground we strive for a battery swap and tank re-fill in 60 seconds or less!
What's that?
